Amar Maaruf Nahi Munkar

Assalamualaikum w.b.t.

Today, something happen. Something that make I think back what am I doing? Am I wrong?

We always heard about 'amar maaruf nahi munkar'. But do we know

What is maaruf?

What is munkar?

For me, maaruf is something that is done for goodness. What ever it is as ALLAH love it is maaruf

I think munkar is something that you do for bad thing. As long as ALLAH hate it, it is munkar.

And if something happen in front of me, and I think it is wrong, ALLAH hate it, it is munkar

If I see something bad happen in front of me, am I going to ignore it? Absolutely not. If I am doing nothing, my faith in ALLAH is in the weakest state. How could I let it in that state?

I know that It is easy said than done. Therefore, I wish I can do something to correct it if munkar is happen in front of me, amiin.

"Whosoever of you sees an evil action, let him change it with his hand; and if he is not able to do so, then with his tongue; and if he is not able to do so, then with his heart; and that is the weakest of faith."
(narrated by Muslim)

p/s I am starting to thnik 'ALLAH is watching me' in everything I did. Hope it last forever, amiin.

Dont Give up

Assalamualaikum w.b.t

May ALLAH bless us always. Today i would like to share short story that i change from real story. Hope you all enjoy it and get some benifit, insyaALLAH.

............................................................................................

A man was bound and determined to boycott McDonald to show his support for Palestine. He forbade himself from all McDonald’s products. He was not an anti all his life before but he had to do that although he always love McDonald.

One day, he craved for double big mac. He suppressed his desire for it even it seemed impossible for him. Soon, at night, he fell asleep after completing his works. In his sleep, he dreamt about the one he craved for, double big mac. He tried very hard to resist the temptation and the devil’s whisper that lured him to go for it. Abruptly, he felt so hopeless. He had lost his spirit and courage. He was defeated by the damned devil. Suddenly….

He woke up and how frustrated he was when he failed to eat the one he always wants for. He slept again and the same dream happened. By the time he tried to eat it, he woke up again. And this happened all over again until the next morning.

.........................................................................................

If this situation happen in your life, are you confident enough to overcone your lust? Think of it.

This story is about how you face your appetite. How about your lust against maksiat? Are confiident enough to face overcome it? Always remembered that

We created you and then formed you and then We said to the angels, "Prostrate before Adam," and they prostrated—except for Iblis. He was not among those who prostrated.
[Allah] said, "What prevented you from prostrating when I commanded you to?" He [Iblis] replied, "I am better than him. You created me from fire and You created him from clay."
He [Allah] said, "Descend from Heaven. It is not for you to be arrogant in it. So get out! You are one of the abased."
He [Iblis] said, "Grant me a reprieve until the day they are raised up."
He [Allah] said, "You are one of the reprieved."
He [Iblis] said, "By Your misguidance of me, I will lie in ambush for them on your straight path."
[Iblis said,] "Then I will come at them, from in front of them and behind them, from their right and from their left. You will not find most of them thankful."
He [Allah] said, "Get out of it, reviled and driven out. As for those of them who follow you, I will fill up Hell with every one of you."
(Surat al-A`raf, 11-18)

[Iblees] said, "My Lord, because You have put me in error, I will surely make [disobedience] attractive to them on earth, and I will mislead them all.
Except, among them, Your chosen servants."
(Surat al-Hijr, 39-40)

Syaitan had promised to ALLAH that he will always lure us from worship ALLAH. Dont give up and always remember that ALLAH is always with us. ^^

Think twice

Assalamualaikum w.b.t.

May ALLAH bless all of us always. Amiin. First of all, alhamdulillah, thank to ALLAH for everything that HE had gave from the day I've born until now.

Today I want to share some thought that I got from my father.

Remember that,
Everything that you do,
you must get bless from
ALLAH
and
from your parent

Whatever you do, if your parent dislike it, it will never be successful. And if it doesnt get bless by ALLAH, for sure it will never happen.

Think twice before you do something and make sure ALLAH will bless it.

If ALLAH bless it, for sure your parent bless it.

Thank you for read it. May ALLAH bless you always. ^.^

Khusyuk

Assalamualaikum w.b.t.

Today I want to share about 'khusyuk'. Some tips to get 'khusyuk' during solah. I got this info from our discussion in usrah last friday. So, hope it will help all of you to get 'khusyuk' during solat.

Khusyuk solat :

Determination for Solat
Control your mind and focus in solat. Relaxed youself and dont anything else, stay focus like you are stand in front of ALLAH.

'Pelaziman Minda'
Always free your mind. The moment you enter the mosque it is best if you forget everything related to the outside world. The prayer is just for a while, keep that in mind. Only then, you won’t feel hesitate or burden to perform your prayer. Remember, the syaithan will always try to disturb and trick your mind in your solah. So, free your mind from thinking the outside world and reset it to be the only special moment between you and ALLAH.
Breathing Technique
Take a breath each time you recite Al-Quran. If you are the follower (ma’mum) carefully follow the breathing of the imam, not to fast, not to slow.

Reading technique
Try to memorize and understand each word/ayah that you said. Not just understand but really deeply feel the rhyme of the surah that you read so that you’ll understand better what you are doing. InsyaAllah, you will have more focus and khusyuk in solah.

Eye-point technique
Hold your eyes straight to the place of ‘sujud’. Imagine that the word ‘allahuakbar’. Always focus on that point of sujud even when you ruku’ or ‘sujud’

Listen technique
Keep your eyes open and focus on each and every words of the imam. If possible, try to memorize the words. When the imam reciting the surah, keep track on the flow. Don’t be neither too fast nor too slow. Grab firmly each word coming out from the imam, remember what surah, from what verse and what letter if possible.

Imagination technique
Inspired the imagination as the sahabat of Rasulullah pbuh, Abu Bakar As Siddiq, imagine beautiful jannah lies on his right, hell is on his left, Allah waits in front of him while the death chases him at the back.

Reflection

Assalamualaikum w.b.t. Alhamdulillah, grateful to ALLAH guiding me the whole time. Everytime I made a mistake, He warning me, reprimand me about all of the sins that I've done. Hope ALLAH will forgive me.

Such a big loss if ALLAH doesn't care anymore about us, never look upon us, never warning us about our sins, nauzubillah minzalik.

I made this entry as a reflection to what I've done before.

O ye who believe! why say ye that which ye do not? Grievously odious is it in the sight of Allah that ye say that which ye do not.
As-Saff (2-3)

Some'word of wisdom' to be share :

It is always better to be friend with the ignorant who is not conquered by his lusts and desires rather than with the pious who is controlled by his lusts and desires. What kind of knowledge should you tell to the knowledgeable when he is conquered by his lusts and desires and what kind of ignorance should you convey to the ignorant when he himself controlled his lusts and desires.
Syeikh Ibnu Athaillah
